Gains from DoD Delete and GM Camshafts

Gains from DoD Delete and GM Camshafts I am curious to see what you guys have gained from doing a DoD Delete and using a GM Camshaft (LS6, LS9, LS7, etc.). Recently swapped my L76 cam for an LS7 during my DoD delete and picked up 40 HP to the tire. Just curious what everyone else was gaining utilizing factory style bump sticks.

EFX_DAVE: Thanks for the information. I have a LS7 cam and lifters sitting on my shelf (change in plans from another vehicle) and I was wondering how it would behave in my G8. I searched a couple of weeks ago but found only one or two guys who did this swap with little information. This doesn't seem to be very popular and I have no idea why. It looks like a great budget alternative for a mild daily driver.

An airbag light and a TPMS light aren't the same thing as a check engine light.

Lol thanks for clearing it up for me.
I had the same problem before I did mine, little to no information on the use of that cam on other engines. Works fine for me and I'm very happy.
