Id hate to say it but if a pig showed up at my house to seize my car id make him think twice about what life is all about and the loved ones he is about to leave behind, take my car because i street raced, seriously get a life. I can understand if there were innocent bistandards involved that were harmed but really, big government anyone? Is big brother watching a little too much these days. How about setting stings up to get the drugs off the streets. The rapists, big time crime orginizations. Its so easy for them to put such stringent rules on citisens that do really nothing. But when it comes to cracking down on serious problems they seem not to have the time or resources.
And there weren't innocent bystandards involved...but why should that matter? What would you or anyone else be saying if there was a family involved in a crash with one of these people? Or if it was a school bus coming back from an overnight field trip? What would the concensus be then?
Tell me - what makes these citizens any different than the drug dealer on the corner? Because they're more like you? They've spent hard earned money on their car, and they're enjoying the competition/commrodery with others of similar interest? Cuz hell, according to the local pot head, weed aint hurtin no'body...just like these guys, right? So why should LEOs waste their time with him/them? He/they aint hurtin nobody neither...?
Because they're ALL doing something illegal. It's just these guys who got caught this time. If people would quit doing stuff like this, maybe the LEOs WOULD have more time to focus on stopping drug dealers, rapists, bank robbers etc...did you ever happen to think about that?

i go out and hang out every wedsday with my buddiesat a parking lot we never raced sure there are lots of people that do race but its gay that they would inpound your car for sitting around in a parking lot...this does not feel like america anymore, ******* always have some ashole that ruins it for everybody..his mom is a dumbass....why would you give your 19 year oldkid a gto in the first place.....

ok that should have been clarified (and was meant to be assumed) in a situation that is NOT life or death, such as a burning car or something to that nature, then i would understand not messing with the injured, but yes, if someone was burning alive, i'd do what i could to get them the hell out of there, then have a fun time trying to tell the judge "well would you want me to leave you in your burning car because i didn't want to get fined?"
my point on that was, if someone got in a minor crash, and some noob of a nurse tries to help and ends up making it worse, yeah, i'd go after that person, if i knew it was best to leave me be until medics arrived.

sad thing is if you took them out of the burning car, they would still sue you. they just figure they are messed up so might as well get rich. Lawyers are scum, cops are tomato plants, third place is car salesmen. Those are the top 3 worthless people in my opinion. California is too liberal for me, SC is still half way normal.

i moved from greensboro NC, a couple of years ago and a buddy of mine just called me and told me his TT eclipse was one of the cars that they impounded... he got his car back and the charges were dropped because there was not sufficient evidence that he was racing. as for the other kid i guess hes fucked... he says that he will loose his license and might even have a little jail time or community service... i remember going out to this place when i first got my license and it was always a place to hang and look at some cool cars, as far as loitering no one really cared cause there isnt **** to do there.

Ford went with a blower chevy went with a bigger motor. If want to throw numbers around the new cobra makes 500 and the 2010 makes 540 granted the gt500 is a fat pig and would be slower than the ls3 vette yet faster than the 2010 camaro.

whats it cost ? how much more will it cost over a camaro?
and for close to 70000 grand you still get a solid axel and a base interior.
oh what happened to the for gt, the omg that car is fast ?
couldnt sell the damn things ,and the ones they did sell burned to the ground.

and by the way my 05 gto with headers and a tune just went 12.03 at 114

I'm not sure where your getting 70 grand for the shelby but your about 25k too high. In addition ford had no problem selling the ford gt.
So headers/tune put a gto in vette territory yet they way 3800 lbs? Also if you want to start talking about modded cars I've a non pully cobra go low 11's with supsension work and weight reduction.

as for my time i have done a lot of weight reduction and my race weight is close to the vette.
but i have actualy spent very little money on the car .
the only bought weight reduction is a hood , and i got that for cheep(free)
rest is just unbolting stuff that can be put right back in.
oh i got a question for you ,the 4.6 with it more efficent design heads and smaller displacement ,and a 100 hp less get such bad fuel milage .
im a ls2 with an auto trans making 362 hp at the rears and get 19 mpg around town and 22-23 on the highway.
and the m6 cars get close to 27 .
