There are a few bolt on GTO out there running in the 11's we where the 1st 04 to do it back in March of 2008 our mods at that time where

Pedders suspension back half kit
DBA Rotors
Pedders Radius rod bushings
Driveshaft Shop one piece driveshaft
Vig 3200 stall
Kooks 1 ¾ in Headers and off-road pipes
Corsa Sport Cat Back
CS Performance maf pipe
CAI cold air box driver side headlight removed for ram air
Ported stock TB
SLP underdrive pulley
15x3 Weld Racing Magnum up front
Stock GTO 17's with 275/40 M/T Drag radials
Tuned by Kaltech tuning

Weight at the time was around 3530 here is a list of the weight reduction we did:
Skid plate
V-brace
Fuel Brace
Passenger Seat
Rear Seat
Spare tire & jack
Floor Mats

Hmm guess that seems believable in a well setup stalled auto car. Did you remove the skidplate and all that or go with lightweight replacements?

Oh and sick car, read the hmhtp article and thats very impressive!

Disagree. No internal engine mods or power adders(nitrous or boost). Anything else is pretty much fair game.

If your are talking about our car the "backhalf" is just suspension parts its the way pedders list there kits not a "backhalf" like a racecar there backhalf kits are just bushing, shocks & springs

As for the converter its just bolts in like a intake bolts on nothing in the trans gets taken apart to bolt the converter in

Here is a pic of the car from last year you can she its still a stock suspension car not a backhalf car

Plain and simple...anything that doesn't touch oil is a bolt on. That has been the accepted definition for as long as I've been doing this.

A stall converter is a bolt on because it has nothing to do with engine output, same with a suspension.
