i have a stalled 05 gto not even full bolt ons , 11.60 at 115mph on the stock gears

11.52 @116mph after adding 3.91s . 7.28 in the 1/8 at 95 mph
1.52 60'

a gto is capable of good times , and there are vids of the 11.60 run .

Sorry I dont get on here much. My time slip should be uploaded on here since I'm in the 11 sec. club. 66tomcat has been the one i've been chasing. I've done most of the free weight removal and its a full bolt on, stock cam, stock heads, stock bottom end, no fi, no n20. It has a yank ss 3600 and factory 3.91 gears. Car cuts 1.58 60' but haven't got a chance to try it with the drag bags. I dont have a track any more here in St.Louis so I haven't got to race this year. I know i have full list of mods and time slip also uploaded on the ls1gto forums.

Ditch that POS K&N intake & look at getting a Svede Speed intake. If you have a auto I would consider getting a 3200-3600 stall to.

Do yourself a favor and put a decent transmission cooler on your car when you put the stall in also. Stall and gears are the best first mods for it besides exhaust.

I never knew the holden's had a 3.91 gear. That sure would chug the gas in an auto car.

HUH!!!!!!!

Holdens in AUS could get a 3.91.... But no GTO came with 3.91's
BOTH the 6 speed and A4 came with a 3.46 rear gear to the US

Yes the ones they shipped over here came with 3.46 but a holden is a holden no matter whether is is a lumina ss like in the middle east or a monaro in aussie or a vauxhaul in the UK. Same car just a different symbol and depending on the country which side the steering wheel is on. 3.91 were a factory option for some monaro's and vauxhaul. Aftermarket ones never came out until the past year or two so everyone who wanted 3.73 or 3.91 had to buy direct from holden which at the time I did was $750 plus the install kit.

What weight reduction have you done to get down into the 11.5x range?
