when I had my '04 I made sure it was off all the time. there is nothin worse then it kicking in when you start to race someone. I always thought it was pretty invasive too. if you are thinking of getting a goat get one. they are very high quality cars you will not be disappointed. I only sold mine b/c I have been obsessed with vettes since I could comprehend what a car is lol.
