Well over the past few days seeing the new GTO comercial - the one were they are buliding the motor - has anyone else noticed that they are putting the head on upside down? I thought I saw it that way the first time, and finally got to see the ad again tonight to make sure.

It was mentioned on one of the GTO specific sites. I didn't pay enough attention to notice, I have only seen it once and was trying to get a feel for the ad. That's what they get for having some CGI company who doesn't know cars do the ad.

I saw the commercial last night and saw it was on upsidedown after reading about it on here.

hey how much hp does the gto supposed to have stock?? This guy at work was trying to talk **** cuz he said it supposed to be faster than my 99 z28. I went ahead and told i didnt really give a **** and if he wanted a real car buy himself a Z06. He said he didnt want a new car so I told him well shut up then.

I don't think they are a threat to LS1 F-bodies yet. From what I understand, they only have about 250hp. Correct me if i'm wrong. Not trying to bash here. I also heard that some of them have 300hp. I don't know for sure. Either way, the 4th gen fbody should prevail. That's until, or if, they put the LS2 under the hood.

So far there has been one 'posted' dyno test seen and an A4 turned 291.3 rwhp and 312.7 rwtorque bone stock. The car more than likely barely had 500 miles - if that.

Geez, why did you go for the Z06?? I mean if money aparantly isnt important why not just get the even faster Viper? or Ferrari?
