I love my GTO and know I will regret selling it once it's gone but I need another old car project so the GTO has to go. When I did daily drive it I had a blast. Fast enough stock, super quiet, and always turned heads.
Mine is not Impulse Blue but the much better Midnight Blue. lol
Let me know if you are interested. I can work on the price for a quick sale.

I did the GTO thing for about a year and a half. It didn't have the character of the 4th gen (raw and connected), so I sold it. You may want to read through these threads:

Why'd you sell your Firebird, anyway? It seems like a bad idea if you went and looked at a SS already.

I did read through those..I'm 41 yrs old gentlemen..I've had countless iroc's,TA's,corvette's.. I wanted a DD that is a little more refined with the LS2 M6.. 05,06 M6 for sure..Most guys in here are pretty young I'm sure..

I just turned 41 and I really like the fact that the car is a bit refined for a muscle car. It's a great car and I don't think you will be disappointed unless you want a 1/4 mile monster (which is do-able, just easier and cheaper with other cars). Love your boxer, best dogs in the world.

I've had my share of F-bodies,Vette's..I want something diff.. There are a lot of young guys on here that want to drag race..I'm not into that..I want a nice daily driver, something comfortable with lots of power..GTO is it.

If the guy has money, why wouldn't one want to consider a CTSV? It has 150 more hp, and if he's looking for a comfortable driver, it will be infinitely better.
The GTO is a great value -- big power for ~$15k. It has its flaws, and certainly is not the best platform if you just want to go fast.
If you are on a budget and want some speed, but also refinement, then it can't really be beat.
If you've got more money to burn, then you might prefer something else (G8, CTSV, etc).

I am on a budget..I own a house ect.. I drove a CTSV the other day,but too expensive.. 150 hp more? That's the supercharged one right? This was not supercharged..it was an 06 M6 LS2. I'm leaning towards an 05 GTO M6 Blue/Blue leather..
