^^^ Im with this guy.

I bought my GTO cause it was cheap and fun to drive. I was hooked after my test drive. I dont really care about the looks, and after a few weight saving threads she moves out of the hole quite well. Like it was said before, with the right mods, she is a keeper.

I love them. This is my GTO...I love the stance and the shape.

Notice, the car is completely level front to rear...but the rear wheelwell is SMALLER than the front wheel well. Sucks! haha

Really? I've heard a lot of people compare the G8 to a Bonnevile SSEI. Thats doesn't mean I don't like it somewhat. I had a chance to buy both and chose the GTO. Wasn't even close IMO.

I don't know if I can consider the opinion of someone who lists a handheld tuner and HIDs as mods in his sig.

And that's "bean" by the way.

I'm a little older and I like how the GTO flies under the radar...a nice quick cruiser that hurts some feelings once in a while.

Couldn't agree more, can't believe this thread is revived. If you want to talk smack about the shape of a car do it in your house not ours. Obviously this is the modern gto section so, this type of thread isn't gonna fly well with most of us.

The tuner gave me 30 rwhp more plus knocked .5 second off my ET, so it shows what little you know Bozo. Superchips has CAI specific tunes available for each of the major ones out there.

And what are you the grammar police? I know how to spell it, I just spelled it wrong.

Inferiority complex maybe about his mom's Bonneville? The G8 is ok for a four door and I wouldn't mind having one but they lack something.

I dont even know if a nice set of longtubes PLUS a DYNO tune would net you 30whp let alone a shitty handheld tune. But think what you want dude.

It's obvious you know nothing about the G8, it has LS3 heads and responds to mods better then the LS2 in the GTO. A set of longtubes, a CAI and a dyno tune will net 65 whp on the G8 since the factory tune is lame and it's setup for regular gas.

And just because the Superchips tuner did nothing for a Bonneville doesn't mean it's the same for the G8. Regardless of what you think it does work very well on the G8. So when you learn the facts about the G8 then you can talk about it. In the mean time keep your mouth shut since you know nothing about it.

Seriously dude? You are starting to sound 12 for real. One question for ya, why is your car tuned with a handheld again? Then you turn around and put it on a happy dyno and brag about it.... I never claimed i knew much about the G8's because i don't and don't care to. Their heavy 4 door sedan hogs and that is all i need to know about them. Do another burnout troll.
