Yes, it's not a typo, there is a dealership here in Michigan that is due to take delivery of a total of 80 new GTO's, that is also because they are the largest Pontiac dealership in the USA, hell, as we speak, Michigan is covered in snow, and they have 3 sitting outside on there display pad out front, so people will see them, they have so many. And to boot, they are so anxious to get rid of them that they are willing to honor GMS pricing on some occasions i heard. I know a guy that knows a saleman there, and he said if i knew anyone interested in getting GMS to contact him, and he will hook you up with the salesman that will take care of you, hell, why pay 9,999 over msrp, when you can get GMS.....haha. so i figured i would just pass along the info, since i unfortunately just bought a new S10 ZR2, and have to pass on the GTO's If you are interested just call Bill Schultz @ Cruisin Collectables....586-285-2277, and tell him that Jason from Ramchargers gave you his number. and if anyone here is a member of LS1GTO.com feel free to cut and paste this post there, as i am not a member over there, but hate to see anyone get raped by greedy dealerships!

I talked to a local dealer in MA today. He said they are waiting for a black GTO and followed by saying that dealers are only getting 1. I really wanted to correct him with - your dealership is only getting 1

Correct, it's essentially GM employee discount, like take for example, my 03 S10 ZR2 i bought in august, sticker was 26,500 plus tax,title and extra's should almost be 29,000 retail price, with my GM discount, i paid 20,300 out the door, sweet discount if ya ask me, instead of getting raped by greedy dealers that are ONLY getting 1 GTO, shop around to the bigger dealers that are getting more, and are hot to unload them.

GMS is not the Supplier Discount Program. The Supplier Discount program is 4% over GMS (GM out of Stock). GMS is the discount for GM employees, retirees, and qualifying family members. Also, the GMS discount % varies depending on model.

I know for a fact that some dealers around SE Michigan are honoring GMS. However, they may not be "advertising" the fact and want to keep it fairly quiet to try to land the "fish" who is willing to pay at or over MSRP.

I just stopped at that dealer last night and they have 12 GTO's on the platform and the only color they don't have sitting out is Red. I will say the Barbados Blue is very Nice.

Someone PLEASE tell me how to get there from Toledo Ohio! Im only in town for another week then back to Korea till august..... id like to test drive one before i head back so i can decide if i want to buy one when i come home!! If anyone knows where in Mich it is or best way to get there from Toledo (I-23, I-75??) it would be MUCH appreciated!!! Thanks!
