Yeah, I just went from a C5 vette myself and have had several F-bodies and prefer the 04 GTO I just picked up over the other cars I've had. I love the interior and ride quality, fit and finish etc....

I have an 03 z06 and and a 06 Gto. I know what the op is saying about overall comfort. C5s have a lot in common with f bodys in terms of interior. Both cars trump fbods in suspension for dd though. But my z06 with good tires is so much more fun to drive than my Gto or modded old ws6. The Gto feels like a boat with all the body roll and the brakes feel like they're broken after driving it after the z. Both goat and z have good steering feel, prob the tires. I love both when it comes down to it but I would never sell my z for a Gto. Haha.

That FRC looks great just like your current goat, have fun with it!! Take a ride in a maggied goat, you might like the low-mid range tq more for DDing. Congrats man
