Check Out My New Car.... I sold my fully built vette cause I got sick of having a car that sits in the garage. Plus I was able to make a little money from the sale too. So I bought a 2005 GTO that is my new daily driver and I must say this car is WAAAAAAAAY better then my vette and the ws6 I owned. Everything is soooo much smoother. No creaks, rattles, or annoying noises. Not as fast as the vette but hoping to get either a procharger or maybe nitrous for it in the near future.

Vette was faster and looked meaner. Thats where the pros stop tho. I LOVE the GTO it is EXACTLY what I was looking for in a car! Fast, Fun, Comfortable, No annoying noises! Plus the fact that the GTO is LOUD AS FACK! makes it that much meaner.

General comment as a relatively new owner. Someone helpful on the 'douche bag site' referred me to this site telling me I could get great info here, which seems to be absolutely true after spending a couple of hours browsing.
It would seem that comments like the above prove the 'pimply faced kids' frequent both though, ho hum.

I love that GTO!!! He posted pics on ls1gto.com where I saw it and it made me want a DMS cowl hood lol. You made a good choice. Sometimes I wanna sell my car for a c5 z06 or c6 vette but then I see threads like this and wanna keep my car!!

I now have a goal of how I want my new GTO to look. That is one of the best goats I have ever seen. Nice clean car man.
Also is that a regular vararam intake? It looks different or cleaner...something.
