I agree... thats how I bought mine. You can also check the owners/sellers other posts in the forums to see what he has done to it(good or bad)

What would be some of the issues with a higher mile GTO? Besides having highmiles.
I have been seriously thinking about buying the one with 130k for miles. One owner car blue/blue M6 in excellent condition.

Take a very serious look at the engine. I love LS based cars, but that high of mileage you would have had to replace valve springs, looked at the pushrods, ect. I'm pretty happy if you get 100-110 out of an LS based aluminum block internals, especially the way most people drive them.

Factor in what it would cost if you find something wrong down the imediate road.

Tell me what you guys think about the following cars.

04 Gto 6spd blk/blk minor flood damage, 74k, seats dont work, $6k cash.

05 Gto red/red auto, 40k 2 owners $15k

06 Gto, 71k 6spd red on blk $13 obo

04 Gto, 13k miles, red,red 6spd, $14k

Input is greatly appericated.

Greg

The 2004 with 13k for $14k but that is my opinion.Do not know your preferences or intended use. Weekend car? Street king? Track star? DD?

When the model line is extinct then you select among the best condition that most closely fit your criteria and budget. If the vehicle does not match you either go to your alternative criteria or wait for another vehicle unless you need to purchase now.
