i had my car for a few months
So i always wanted an 05/06 gto since 2007 when i first test drove one. This past febuary, i picked it up about a month and a half later due to having to wait for our banks. I bought one off a member on the ls boards. The car is spice red, has corsa exhaust, stainless works headers (catless) and pedders track II suspension. The car came with all stock parts plus the stock 18" wheels which were barely used. These photos were taken a month or so ago. As it sits now it has the factory 18's on it, i also swaped the interior bulbs for regular ones instead of red, changed the plugs to coppers, and i added 04-05 tailights and debadged. I also just picked up a billet pro short shifter.
without further wait here she is
and an exhaust clip!
and a more recent fly by video. I know my shifts are slow, im still getting used to the car and nothing a billet pro wouldn't fix

You took the '06 tails off and put on '04-'05 red tails that clash with your Spice Red? More power to you for doing something different, but it's definitely...different.
Very nice looking car. I would have switched to the 18's, as well. They're one of the best looking wheels on these cars IMO.

That's one nice goat. I will hopefully pick mine up this weekend. Got an phantom(?) Black 04. If you don't mind me asking what are your plans for the 06 tails? I could take them off your hands if you want to sell them?

+1. I hope he at least got cash plus the red tails. The blacks are definitely more desirable and have a higher value. Spice red and tail light red clash FWIW. The stock 18s are very nice wheels tho.

I personally like the look of the red tails on my spice red. Just preference i guess. I got the red tails on ebay, $90 and there in perfect shape.

thanks guys, from what iv'e read spice red was an option only in 2006. Getting a gto was probably the hardest car to look for. There were only 18 listings on auto trader and cars.com for a 05-06 m6, i went through about 5 that were already sold and looked at 4 before deciding this was the perfect one. The first one i looked at was a torrid red 05, 6spd with like 35k, i missed signing the papers by one hour, the idiot salesman sold it on me. The next one was an 06 black with 48k, i actually had signed papers on it but then backed out when i found out the guy was a scam artist. The next was a 06 spice red, stock and 200 miles away in Delaware, i fell in love with the color right away but that dealership was a ******* joke, i drove 4 hours to test drive it only to find that it grind-ed 2nd,3rd,4th and 5th and then he tried selling me a 1,000 wax job for it, i left laughing and drove another 4 hours home. I just about gave up with the search. Then i found the one i own now and couldn't be happier.
