Lightbulb How To: Headlight Polishing / Restoring

Hello all,

I recently decided to Polish / Restore the headlights on my GTO, so I thought I would do a "how to" video for anyone that may be thinking about doing this and has never done it before. Don't flame if you don't like it, this is my first "how to" video. Everyone may not like the way I do things and some may have a better way. This is not THE way to do it, merely MY way of doing it. It works great and the results speak for themselves.

Your welcome. Thanks for watching. Hopefully it clears up how this is done. No pun.

Anyone else had good results doing this on their car?

I redid mine about 2 years ago with similar results, it lasted about 6-7 months. I just had some aftermarket headlamp assemblies installed about a month ago and they are much nicer than stock.

Care to share what kind of aftermarky lights you picked up? I wouldn't mine having some that COME with HID's so I wouldn't have to butcher the stockers and possibly halo's included.

Car is out at the shop getting a new fuel pump, when I get it back I will check the brand. They do have halo's too. The fit isn't exact where the trailing edge sits in the fender, I think I can fix it though by working on the mounting tabs with a dremel tool a little bit.
