Default rear passenger tire shake

Hello, I own a 2005 m6 and on normal take off in 1st gear it feels like its slightly wheel hopping but only for about 3-4 seconds and then goes away, it comes from the passenger side. Sometimes it does it and other times it doesn't. Stock suspension and new tires, only mods are longtubes and catback. Any ideas what this could be?

Default tire shake

Thanks for the response but the new tires have been balanced, there are no flat spots and it goes away after about 10 mph. The only way I can describe it is a version of wheel hop and only the passenger side rear wheel does it. Thanks again.

Could have slung a weight, it happens sometimes but I think you would notice it at higher speeds or constantly if that were the case.

I thought wheel hop only occurred during hard launch not with normal driving, I've never felt wheel hop with normal take off from dead stop, but I have from a heavy acceleration

Default wheel shake

I have experienced wheel hop on a spirited take off but that is the only way I can describe it right now. Its not as bad as wheel hop and only occurs at 0-10 mph then goes away until I stop again, it happens only in 1st gear normal take off and then disappears around 10-15 mph. It is annoying not knowing what is causing it.

Sounds like classic wheel hop. It can be reduced with a few mods, maybe eliminated. I no longer have any on mine after some mods.

Look at post #12, these are the results of wheel hop and abuse.

I would suspect the rear shock absorbers are worn out
