Default Moser M9 GTO Package

http://shop.brutespeed.com/Moser-M9H...er-M9HPGTO.htm

Eliminate the problems with the weak rear in these cars, this package replaces the entire IRS rear assembly with a Moser fabricated 9 inch. This package comes complete with everything needed. Take a look at the above link. There is a link to the installation instructions at the above link, so you can see how it is assembled. Bob

The more I look at this kit, the more it looks like one of the better 9" options out there-minus loosing the IRS part. I assume there's plenty of room for adjusting angles n stuff. Options are endless with the 9" housing.

The OEM diff has proven itself to hold up to twice, almost three times it's original capacity rating, I wouldn't say it's a weak piece; I feel that's a little misleading. All my higher end diff builds are still intact and have no failures even at the 700+ mark. The only failures I've recorded has been on trutrac carrier builds. The trutrac doesn't do so well in the GTO

No 12 bolt options. Overall the nine inch is a much stronger rear than the 12 bolt. That car did get mini tubbed, and the rear was narrowed. Thanks. Bob

You are correct, there is plenty of adjustment to this rear. Thanks. Bob

It's basically the same rear I had in my Camaro. Bob

It says on the Moser instructions that the fuel tank has to be removed and a fuel cell installed. It doesn't look like the floor has been cut out that I can tell? A guy from Moser said it was for clearance, but couldn't tell me what they did to the floor. Do you know? Buying another fuel tank, pump and accessories is not a small deal.

We didn't do that when we initially made the first one at the old shop. I don't see why you would have to, the tank is up and out of the way. The most recent one that I sold was to Steve from Monster clutch, I'm sure he could tell you. Thanks. Bob
