Yeah, it's usually pretty good there. Only 90' above sea level at New England Dragway. So, unless it's brutally humid(most of the summer here) the conditions are great.
They do track rentals during the day on Wednesdays, so the right lane is prepped pretty good for Street Nights. Very little, if any prep on Friday Nights.
I was supposed to be back up there today, after getting the car ready to go I got the automated text saying it was closed due to off and on showers. I was bummed to say the least...

I'm happy with the trap, I think I could get it into the high 11.8's with a bit more practice. But, overall I'm very happy with the car. I was ready to get rid of it early in the season.
Got it re-tuned, took a little weight out and all of the sudden it's almost a full second faster, lol.

The tune was ****, got horrible gas mileage, only picked up 2 tenths and 1 mph after doing heads and cam. Brought it to a different tuner than I usually used and learned the hard way.
Went back to my original tuner and he fixed all the **** the other guy fucked up. Mpg doubled and the car was much faster. Shouldn't have tried someone new, but it was closer and I didn't want to travel far untuned after doing all the work

I just feel bad for the guys that don't have better options. Luckily, I have a well known and respected shop about an hour away

Exactly! And in my case it was a well known shop who did a half *** tune lol. I ended up taking a chance on a no name guy who does it on the side basically, and it was much much better all around

Thanks! It really is, I was so disappointed with the car when I ran 12'8's after doing heads/cam. I was ready to burn the damn thing, kept second guessing my work and thinking something was off since it ran well, sounded healthy and felt faster.
It was the mileage that ultimately led me to try retuning. I kept reading about guys getting great mileage with much larger cams. I was lucky to see 10mpg around town, 15mpg highway. Finally, I reached out to Don at slowhawk and he got me squared away. I'm so glad I did, I love my car again

I used to have a few gopro's that I would mount in the car and outside, but I left them in the car during the summer and they both got fried.
