Default Headlight idea

I thought about this when I was at the dealership checking out the new GTO's. Its sort of a tuner idea of painting the insides of your lights the same color as the car to make it look cleaner. This is really the only picture I could find of anyone's car that I could make look good, if anyone has a nice head on shot like this for me to photoshop, let me know!

But this is what my idea was. Very bad photoshop, I can do way better (look at my sig pic) but I gave it a shot.

My opinion, it would look alot cleaner. Now my curiosity is if the headlights are easy to crack open and work on hehe.

Its a good front shot, but I wouldn't be able to make much difference with how dark the picture already is. Got anymore?

Well I gave that one a shot. This is a really bad example of my skills hehe like no joke, its horrible but I can't do it for some reason. You get the idea of what i'm workin with. I'm still learning the contours of the headlight. Basically all you'd need to do (assumingly) is just crack the headlights open, tape off the chrome, sand down the gray inside the headlight casing and paint it the color of the car.

Personally I'm not sure it would look that good on any color but black - but that's just me.

With black, it'll look real classy. Those photoshops arn't going to be realistic cause it looks like its painted on the outside. I'm trying to mimick the inside grayness painted the same color as the car.
