WTF Happened to the GTO Forum, LS1GTO??

Never been over there guys, but I’d venture to guess that the forum is suffering from the same thing most forums are, which is apparently FaceBook Forums. I don’t FaceBook, but I hear from multiple trusted sources that it’s where all of the folks are going. I’m on several automotive forums and they are all suffering from lack of participation, therefore lack of sponsorship. Unfortunately these things get ran like a business. Sad to see most of them failing.

The managment and moderators are what happened. Unprofessional, biased, rude, self centered groupies stroking themselves until the end. The end.
This place is very decent and so is gastiresoil, but the car is old, and the community isn't consistent and of the same caliber these days.

I have been on LS1GTO since I purchased my GTO in 2008.
I've met many people, been to meets, cruises, races; traded, sold and bought many parts; and provided many of my own instructions / tips and DIY experiments. As I attempted to question what had happened to the forum, the moderating staff preferred being witless smart-asses deleting my threads without informing me why rather than be helpful.
The new layout was forced without any testing. It broke many of the forum rules that have been in place over a decade designed to protect the forum members.
The forum is practically unusable and the "Management" of the website could give two ***** less.
I've been a long time lurker here, guess its time to jump out of the shadows.

There's a bad one on the Hummerforum as well. Evidently doesn't like people cluttering up his website.
