Cool 2005 GTO Dyno and Rear Photo

From our Industry insider contacts , I've aquired two nice bits of info on the upcoming 2005 GTO. The dyno graph, and a photo of the new rear fascia designed for dual exhaust tips.

As for the front fascia, I hope it comes out something like this, but with the dual hood scoops added:

Thanks to our insider informants

Huh - with all the spy photos showing the grey 'insert' between the pipes on both the Monaro and the GTO I would have figured that would be the rear. I'd be surprised to see anything other than the existing front fascia - especially considering the press release telling about the LS2 had a pic of a silver car from the front.
I like the fascia w/ the GTO in it - but not enough to reroute my exhaust, et al, for a changeover...

Love the torque curve on that graph. That extra grunt will get that pig moving faster. I may have to look into an 05... hrmmm...

That would be sweet if its a body colored bumper instead of that two tone one. Nice dyno

The face of the GTO is unchanged for 2005.

Those who like the Autocrass parts will be able to buy them this fall from Pontiac dealers, they will fit both 2004 and 2005 model GTOs.

That rear is NOT the 05 GTO production rear. Looks like the 04 Autocross rear or a aftermarket rear.

Notice the "OFFICIAL" picture of the 05 Rear.

The dyno looks good if in fact it is an actual dyno chart.

That bumper does not resemble the 05 bumper. The 05 specs are offical on the 1st but they've been on other boards since eariler this week along with some pics and the 05 monaro pics.

The dyno graph matches the dyno results from GM for the C6.

In fall there will be RPA's (Regular Production Accessories) including grille inserts, tips, rocker modlings, front fascia, and rear spoiler.

That's nice. I'm anxious to see the '05 Goats and drive one. I might have to trade up for an '05.

I think the only thing I really don't like about the car is the wheels now. I think they could do better than 00-02 Cavalier Z24 lookalikes...
