When to up grade half shafts and D.S.?

Default When to up grade half shafts and D.S.?

Like the title says. At what point will the stock parts fail. Would i need these if i get a super charger?

We replaced ours before it failed but the guys over in Australia seem to have problems once they dip into the 11's. Usually the first failure is either one of the rubber joints on the driveshaft or the inner CV joint on the rear axles. Once both of these are upgraded, you can run into the 10's without much problem. If your 60 ft/times get below 1.6, you will probably want to upgrade the inner stub axles also. Those are next on the failure list

wow, 1.46 60ft what tires / wheels do you have squeezed onto that thing?

275/50R15 Mickey Thompson Drag radials on Bogart wheels! We were using BFG 275/40R17 drag radials before and our best 60 ft's were 1.58-1.61 but these new MT's are awesome. I am confident we can get in the 1.30's once we get the launch techniques dialed in.

Damn that is just awesome keep it up guys because i will be working on suspension next and you are the guys i am dealing with.

broke a driveshaft here on 430ish whp at the rubber u-joint. BMR's stuff will be going in tomorrow.
