Looking to upgrade 04 rear valance from single to 05 duel outlet exhaust. Dealer tried to spot paint defective paint area in 04 valance but it came out looking worse than before. The whole thing needs repainting to keep from looking like it was in some kind of accident. Therefore, does anyone know what aftermarket catback exhaust, if any, is out there for the 05 valance on an 04 GTO? Will 05 factory catback fit 04 with 05 valance?

You may want to go with the Borla 2 exit ehaust and then have it repainted after you use their cut out and make the extra hole.

I think RKSport has a Magnaflow-built kit that is split dual. It was designed for the RKSport body kit. I'd call them.

05 Cat back wont work on 04 pretty sure 05'S got one muffler with 2 pipes coming out of it .

I had autobody shop cut a hole in the right side of the valence then repaint the bumber I had a scratch on thier anyway..then I bought the speedbuilt banshee duel exit exhaust with stainless tips biult from borla for $160 less than the one with the template ...Sounds great and looks better than any 05 with or without the autocross package. i WILL HAVE PICS IN A couple of days

There are a few different dual exit ehx out there now, just need to shop around a bit. I think there are 3-4 to be honest.

Thanks for the replies. It just doesn't seem like it would be that big a deal for Kooks or Stainless Works or the other aftermarket header and catback suppliers to bend a couple of tailpipes to fit holes in 05 rear valance on 04 GTO.

'05's have one resonator and then two individual mufflers close to the tips in the tailpipe.

They are not the same layout as our '04's.

Really all you need to do is have an exhaust shop mimick the tailpipe on your '04 going to the left.
