Default Should I jump on this?

Hey guys,
I have just recently started looking at getting a LS1 GTO and I found one up here by me that is Blk/Blk 6spd with 23k miles, for $19k. Should I jump on this? It's the cheapest I have seen so far. Let me know what you think.

How much are the ls2 gto's? I wouldn't think their that much more. but I wouldn't know I haven't priced them. If not much difference i would pay more and get the newer faster one.

The cheapest LS2 I've seen up here is $26k and it had 15k miles on it.

wow I just checked autotrader around ft.Worth and their all above 30,000 for the ls2. I guess it would be at your choosing, you could always mod the ls1 and still save money. I'm not sure what the differences are other then the engines, but I'm sure more GTO guys will ring in and definatly be able to help you out.

i wouldn't "jump" on any used car. get a car facts report, check out the service work it has had done to it. Test drive it. Check the interior and exterior and tires to make sure everything is satisfactory. If there is anything at all that doesn't look or sound right to you, make them fix it or reduce the price. if everything is ok, then get them to take 18k for the car. be knowledgable when you go there. but if everything is cool you'll love the car.

Yeah I do all that with any used car before I buy it. When I said jump on it I meant if the car is legit is it one that I shouldn't pass up. Sry for the confusion, thanks for the advice

19k for a 04 GTO, hmmmm like someone else has already said check it out real good. That's an excellent price, and find out if it's been tuned or has any after market mods. The cheapest I've seen a used 04 GTO around here in CT was about 23-24, and they had under 10k on them. Do your homework and if it checks out........clean out the garage........

19K with 25K miles? I would try for 18 or 17K.
