FAST 90 On
Well just put on the FAST 90mm intake manifold. All I can say is wow... it really made a big difference in the upper RPM's. No dyno #'s on it, I should be taking it to the track this weekend to hopefully pull some high 11 second pass though (crosses fingers).

The paint is just some stuff we found at the last moment that matched pretty damn good. I don't remember what it was.

With a 6.0L bottom end and 243 casting heads stock....these cars should MOVE with just bolt ons, cam and getting rid of that garbage LS2 manifold.

05_GTO I think that your GTO is the best looking GTO I have seen since they came out. I just bought the FAST 90 and i was gonna install it tommorrow but it looks like I will be painting everything first, now that I see how good it looks.

With the FAST intake, did you use the stock TB? Other than the intake did you need to purchase anything else to get it installed properly? Is there anything special you had to to do to get the intake to work on an '05?

You'll need:
1 .Some thick washers to space out the power steering res. You can hardly tell they are there once it is on.
2. Electrical tape - Carefully unwrap the harness that the map sensor is in and create enough "slack" to relocate that sensor to the rear. Tape the harness back up.
3. Four Washers (two small, teo larger) - You'll need to create a "steped" type washer so that the fuel rails will be held down. The fuel rails do not bolt directly up. No big deal.
4. Longer bolts to bolt the TB to the manifold."

A few pics of it cleaned
It's got a few scraps in it where the FRC (fuel rail covers) hit it. The FRC's will have to be trimmed some as well to be able to be put back on. I still need to trim mine more, I'll get around to it one day.
