3.73's are best for a mainly street driven auto. I wouldn't go higher. I personally did 3.91's, but I have an m-6.

A cam will maximise your intake charge, and exhaust expelsion. It would be a good idea to aid your blower with a cam. I am going Harrop HH 122 intercooled blower, and adding a cam at the same time. Just makes more sence to me.

To me 19" tires/rims are just too big. 18's are OK, but racing should be 17" or less.

All just my honest opinion.

I've not heard of anyone with a gTO getting 373's (or 374)

3.91:1 is the popular gear in australia,
I think they say in 6th @ 80mph you will gain like 400rpm
so you will still be below 2500rpm

there are some who have gone with 4.11 or 4.10
but I think that would kill your drivability

you only have one (1) Cam
it's in the middle (Pushrod engine)

and a new one (with springs and pushrods) will make a big difference

I would go with the MSIV (Magic Stick 4)
but I don't know how that will do with your supercharger

good luck

the problem here in Dubai is that we can't get parts easily.. And there are not much of sites that can ship it 'till here... I've been looking for the Goat Center gauges pod for a month now.. and i can't find it... it's really irritating me... I need lots of thing for my car but I can’t find it...

i would love to see a set of 4.11 or 4.10 since it is said they dont make em for the gto.
the most popular is 3.73 for the auto
and 3.91 for the 6 speed...
those are the two best options you have...

I don’t want to go for 4.10s too much traction loss... besides, we need top-end in here.. we have great open high ways..
I guess I’ll be looking for 3.73s... it’s a bit hard to find though...
Do you guys know any website to order it from??!
<<<< did that....

Harrop makes a bolt in 12 bolt that reuses your stock stubs and axles. Only that way can you get 4:10-4:11. The 3:91's are the highest you will get. 3:08 is the lowest.

Difftechnics will be your source for the new GTO gears.

Talk to Ed @ Flowtech Inductions. He can set you up with a really nice FI cam. You should expect a gain of at least 45-50 RWHP.

JHP makes those center mount guages.

X2 the gears wont gain any power (in fact you may loose a little) but it'll gain MPH in the 1/4 mile and make you faster from a roll as well...def look for a blower cam as it'll make a huge difference!

With the blower and you saying you want to do top end runs on the highways there i'd stick with the stock diff and gears. You aren't going to gain anything noticeable going from a 3.46 to a 3.73. As for the cam, comp xe-r 228/232 114 lsa.

If you really want to make that auto move i'd get a higher stall torque converter if you don't already have one. i'd recommend something in the 3200 rpm range for a heavy car making lots of low end torque.

H/C should probably be the first upgrade to an LS1 car.....H/C properly done and tuned can give over 100 RWHP increase. Thats a lot.

you could just swap out your pulley on your supercharger for a smaller one...

It would handle it for a period of time, but im sure that engine wont see the year 2008 before you invest in a new set of rods/ pistons and possibly a crank. the higher compression on the LSx motors make it not friendly to high level of boost on stock internals. It will run fine for a bit, it will need a good tune cause of the high cyclinder pressure. but I would have funds in storage for some new internals...
