Default Headers for 04 GTO

Im trying to find a set of headers for a friend of mine who has an 04 GTO, but all I can seem to find is Kooks, SLP or SW for the 04 goat. He doesnt want to spend over a grand for just headers. Does Pacesetter make LTs for the 04? I see they make them for the 05-06.

The 05-06 headers will fit, but you will need to have midpipes fabricated

ugh tell him you get what you pay for...ive herd horror stories about pacesetter GTO headers...id reccomend SLP headers and just have some mids fabbed up. i have them on my 06 and they fit great, no problems.

kooks is nice quality but fitment is terrible, tell your friend to spend the money and get quality ones, dynatechs is the best fitment

We haven't had any fitment problems with Kooks at all, in fact, they fit much better than most other brands. We just installed another set yesterday on an '06 GTO. It took us longer to replace the sway bars on this GTO than it did to install the headers! Bob

I've installed 3 sets (2 SW and 1 Kooks). They all have some tight clearances but none stood out as fantastic or terrible. Bottom line go with who has the best price.

My SLPs also installed smooth as ice, but I've also installed a set of Kooks, dynatechs and SWs, all of which weren't that hard either.

regardless of brand, I've seen fitment and clearance issues among other GTO owners. So get what YOU want and what you can afford (remember, some headers don't come with everything for an install, but SLP does). I'm sure you'll be happy with the results.
