there arent any major issues with the 05's like strut failure on some 06's for example. You never know what your gonna get when you get a modded car, it could be done the right way, or it could be half assed. seems pretty new though with only 12,500 on the odo, id say go for it. These cars are truly comfortable to drive day in and day out and tons of fun to boot.

Those HP numbers seem a little high unless its got a procharger most maggie goats are in the 490's. But, it seems like a nice ride.

It is a procharger.

if you do trade watch out for some driveline strength issues, with that much power the two piece driveshaft, stub shafts and cv-shafts like to go

These cars have independent rear suspensions What would it cost to get it to hold 700hp,and what would it consist of.Sorry for the ignorance but im not too familiar with the current cars.

Ditto

I would like to add that getting in and out of the back seat is a PITA.

The autos aren't as likely to kill a driveshaft or axles as the manual ones. ALthough with the HP it's putting out now, and moving up to 700, your going to want to consider an aftermarket tranny. I have a maggie goat putting about 515 to the rear wheels, it's an auto, and the tranny started to go after about 6000 miles of high HP.

If you are concerned with the driveshaft and axles, they definately have replacements out there that can handle 700hp.

Are you looking for exact parts? or prices?

I bought a stage 2 performabuilt transmission. They are a sponsor on the boards here...can be found at www.performabuilt.com, They don't require a core, and do free shipping. Which is great for avoiding downtime if that's an issue...there customer service is also top notch. There are 10 sec GTO's running there transmissions.

As far as the rear, and axles, Difftechnics and BMR make some good parts for that. I'm not sure of a sponsor on here that sells DIfftech stuff, but I'm sure a bunch sell BMR...if you want a sponsor that sells both, you can PM me and I'll gladly give you all the information I can.

For price, you already have a good verter on that car, so you a stage 2 performabuilt will run you about 1700 shipped, 900 for a diff tech rear 800 for a good driveshaft ..another grand for axles and then another grand for axles stubs.... that's parts, not installed. But the combo should hold up to 700rwhp just fine.
