when you say "exhaust" do you mean just a regular catback on a stock car? or do you mean a full exhaust with Lt's all the way back?
if you just mean catback then i believe its the borla and the corsa...but they are pricey.

Save you cash on a catback and get headers.
All catbacks will only net you sound changes unless you have a lot of mods. The factory system flows decently.
Headers are a better exhaust mod as you'll see around 30HP and torque increase with a tune. Most cars end up at 355-375 HP with just headers and a tune, depending on the dyno.
Until you have headers and a cam or more, a catback is not needed.

the reason why i want catback exhaust is because i still have warantee til june 09'. and i might extend warantee. but after that expires i will get cam n head and long tubes (prolly by kooks)

they will till service the car with headers unless it is a problem with your exhaust or from running lean.
I got my diff replaced under warrantee with long tubes and no cats on the car the service manager even said it sounds really nice and he hopes they dont look underneath my car for emissions cuz otherwise i would pass, it already had the rear O2's deleted

they will all gain about the same. you wont notice the power from a catback, let alone the fraction of power from the different systems.
Get the car tuned. That is where the most power is found.

like these guys said I would go with some Lt's (kook's) and if you got the cash cat back(borla). not only will you gain more power your car will sound 10X's better. IMO. As for dyno numbers I have a ls1, but couldn't tell ya what just one alone got me.. had everything done to my car all in one shot!!

The only people putting flowmasters on are the people too cheap to do a real exhaust. You will get next to nothing from putting that crap on your car, go ahead and put glass packs on while you are at it

Any exhaust system (minus flowmaster ) will net around 5rwhp at most.
I used to have headers, factory exhaust, and factory intake. I would run my friend with an 05 gto (same as me) with lt's, K&N cai, corsa sport, and MT drag radials. He would automatically, from a dig, put 2 car lengths on me to the end of first and by 2nd would be pulling away no problem.
I threw some drag radials on and we ran again. This time I would keep up until 2nd but then he'd start pulling me by a car then pull away steadily.
I then threw on the K&N FIPK and the magnaflow exhaust. From a dig till the beginning of 4th gear we were dead even. Even from 60 mph freeway rolls.
Now people say you don't gain much from CAI and exhaust but there is some sort of gain to be had. Not noticeable if using the "butt dyno" but very noticeable if you're testing your car against another similar car like I did.
