Id go for a K&N drop in and put the money you save into a pully or start saving for headers. Im running an AEM intake and it ok. I think the K&N intake fits the best up front(if your at the drag strip, take your drivers side head light out and its right there). My mods are headers, catback, intake and dyno tune got my 333hp/350trq on a M6 transmission. Good luck.

LPE intake is the way to go. It uses the stock mounting and fits like a lglove. You can find them used either on this forum or in the LS1GTO forum.
