That was in the turner field parking lot. We used to be able to drift there, they also used to rent it out for SCCA auto X until the Atliens decided it was to loud. Going to meet an old friend who just bought Lanier Speedway tomorrow, he's interested in using it for drifting. I'd like to add a mile raceway somewhere on the property too!!

Pics coming in the morning, I remembered a wheel today!!

It's going to take a very small amount of grinding to make that clear. I ran out of time yesterday and today but tomorrow I'll do some minimal grinding and add another 5/16" spacer

A stencil? You mean a jig to cut and weld the stock upright? Yes I have one you can borrow.

Looks pretty good to me! As long as it doesn't bend from normal use...

It wont bend or break. The tie rod itself will fail first.

Looking pretty good. How do you suppose it would fare with aftermarket sways and A-arms?

Any tubular lower A arms will help with clearance for wheels/tires and the bracket. The Box'd lower A arms seem to have the same clearance as stock lowers though. The 45's will work just fine with a sway bar now that Ive incorporated the angled tie rod adjuster (which will now be billet), and if memory serves the 66 cleared the sway bar too.

Are the tires still limited to 255 or could you squeeze something bigger in there?

Definitely more room now, all depends on your wheel offset/spacer though. The 275's just barely rub'd with only the 5/16" spacer on stock wheels. Thats the first picture at the top of this page.

A little something I've been working on for a buddy, even though we've never met. A custom carbon/6061 handle with his signature in it.

45's are looking good, possibly will not need the angle tie rods even. Just gotta mock it all back up this weekend.

im new to this site but definitely no drifting. I actually have started a build of my own with an f-body I extended my lower control arms an inch and a quarter and notched them for clearance of my modified knuckles. im about at 45* of angle at lock have 17x8 +20 wheels no clearance problems at all. Hopefully picking up another set of control arms and knuckles tomorrow and will be changing the Ackerman on them a little more than I did on my current ones. Ill post pics when I figure out how to get them off my phone.
