Well I made a a mistake, but I am going to fix it. When I did my new dyno with my exhaust I didn't go to the same dyno shop. But I did go back to the old shop today that I went to last year. So the numbers before and after the exhaust being done to the car are below, by rpm and the avg under the curve. Sorry for getting the two dyno's mixed up.
Got the Strange Dana S60 installed with the new drive shaft, and put about 130 miles on it. I love how there is zero whining coming from it with the 4.10 gears. On my other WS6 that I had I put a Moser 12 bolt in it with 4.10 gears and it whined all the time.
With the Strange and new drive shaft there was a gain of 65lbs in weight though. I'll take that with how quiet it is. Soon I will get it on the dyno again to see how much power was lost, then I will take it and get new 1/4 times to see how much it drops.
Was looking back at some old pictures of my old WS6. Thought I would share them. It was a very fun ride. It was procharged, forged internal, LS1. Made 642hp, 577tq, ran 10.6@134 in the 1/4.
Well I am still waiting to get more miles on the new Strange Dana S60 before I get to the track. Rain and a few other things have kept me from driving the WS6 more. I had to go get me a new dd. So I got me a 2016 Ram 1500.
Well got the WS6 back on the dyno again to see what I had lost with the new rear end. I went from 348 hp to 327, 363 tq to 338. So I lost 21 hp and 25 tq. Since I was out I had the tops out and had a great day cruising around.
I am still going forward with building it even though it has been a long time since my last post. I am hoping to have a cam put in it before to long. A lot of stuff like normal has come up in the last year. But I am getting back on track with the build!
