For anyone that might be wondering. I checked my gas mileage today and I was getting 21.5 mpg. Never really got on it, most of the miles were on the interstate doing about 80 mph.
Well finally made it to the track today. So the last time I went was lid and exhaust. This time was lid, exhaust, Strange S60 with 4.10 gears, cam, and tune.
Very happy with the times. I hadn't been to the track since March of last year. So I was rusty. Was getting better, still need to practice more. There is better times in it.
I posted this at another place on LS1, but wanted to put it here as well in case anyone following doesn't see it there.
Here is the time slip. I know I can get a 12.0 to 11.9 with a better 60', and cooler air. I will get back out there and work on the driver mod and get it lower. Two other passes were 114.80 to back up the 115 mph.
Not a performance upgrade but I did install the 4th Generation Firebird LEVEL 2 Speaker Package from Kee Audio. My factory speakers were in very bad shape. Very happy with the new sound!
