Pushrods!
My pushrods came too. These things look pretty cool. Way different than stock style.
So I remeasured all of them and used excel to sort everything for me
My scribble recording the measurements with a 10" dial caliper
The Sort function in excel is great lol
Here are the pushrods
Here are my measurements for preload. I just wrote the degree of turn past zero lash until the bolt was tight. Not too bad
Couple install pics
I still need to use permatex thread sealer and torque them but I'm about done with this part which is cool

Just got an email from Kevin at MWC and he said they should have everything done by next week, which is awesome. Then the car will be a roller again at least!
I'm wondering if I'll hit 150mph at the track when I get the car together this season. I don't know if I'll need to order a parachute kit or not. I don't know that I'd drive around with it but I think it's over 150mph trap speed they require it. I hit 131 before. That's a hefty leap but lots has changed

Weight loss
Lost a few more pounds tonight. Wrapped up the interior and did the Midwest Chassis Rear bumper support.
The bumpers, fenders, and ground effects all went to paint Friday. Doors next spoiler next Friday and the car the Friday after that if all goes well.
Also all the pushrods are torqued with thread sealer and good to go.
MWC Bumper Support and stock
Interior metal removed. Not much weight here but oh well.
Interior of the car where I removed all the metal. I need to patch holes in the metal and then paint the rest.
Lighweight Steering Column started install
MWC Rear Bumper Support installed
POR 15 ready to go
Update on fuel system soon. Lots of homework going on there lol.

how much weight you figure you dropped?

Lol. No she likes her car better than mine.
The red engine is for the other car in my signature below. I've had it for a long time. Built the motor a couple times but changed my mind a few times. I'll be sticking with this one for sure. I'll make a build thread when the car is further along. It's a 383 forged bottom 11:1 compression; mamo top end spec'd, 200 shot nitrous plate kit for emergencies lol. Mostly an NA motor for the street. Been in the garage for about 9 years and just hit the ground again a few weeks ago.

I’m not too sure. The car weighed 3450 without me in it and a full tank of gas. Tank holds 11 gallons so 60# there are so but I will probably run with a full tank anyway. So race weight with me is 3655. Hopefully drop around 200# with everything. I’ve been searching lots of ways to do it.
Here’s my running weight loss list. I haven’t double checked everything so I might be missing a couple little things but it looks like it’s adding up. I can’t think of any weight that I’ve added to the car because it already had the supercharger, cage and SFCs/suspension. May have to add weight later as it gets faster but for now the car is just dieting.
WEIGHT LOSS LIST:
Moser 9” to Fab9 (all lightweight parts)
4l60e (w/ 10” converter) vs TH400 (w/ 9” converter)
Aluminum 3” DS vs Carbon Fiber DS
Baer/Stock brakes vs Strange drag brakes/rotors (manual master cylinder)
WS6 hood to VFN lightweight 5” pin on hood
-remove hood brackets and hood release mechanism
Optima battery (33#) to Lithium battery (10#)
Moroso steel oil pan to Aluminum (put my steel pan on the street engine)
Steel intercool tubing to Aluminum (and shorter also with top outlet)
-intercooler is a little lighter too, about 4-5# off the nose
Stock seats to Kirkey seats
Stock to Lighweight steering column and wheel
Stock support to MWC lightweight front and rear bumper supports
Stock spindles to MWC race spindles
Front fender supports remove (5)
Door inner safety bars removed (15)
HVAC system removed (40)
Wiper motors and wiring (10)
Interior (metal supports, seatbelts in ceiling, all stereo wiring, lots of junk behind the dash)
New wiring harness from Racewire might be a little lighter too
For the track I have the skinnies now that are track only also so a few pounds there too
I have been using Taubr Units thread to follow weight loss. He did a really good job on weight loss for his car.

Gauges
Got some of my gauges in. I'm doing the Speedo and Tach Autometer Cobalt gauges in the dash with 2 Holley dominator gauges that I'll program to show the left and right wideband. I also have the Holley LCD display coming. I'm going to mount that where the stereo used to go. I ordered some blockoff plates from 6LEdesigns so now I just have to make it all look good lol. The Holley gauges are nice because I can program them for different things.
Also, talked to MWC and they are waiting on one part from Strange for my rear end and it should be ready to ship. Should be perfect timing because I need to roll the car to paint soon and there's nothing to roll it on!

I got my new 3 bar MAP sensor also from Holley. I'm glad I didn't drill a hole in my FAST intake yet because I'll probably just need to run a rubber hose from the sensor to the intake because it won't fit at either stock location.
I also need to figure out how to mount an IAC sensor after the throttle body in the intake. I keep forgetting to order another one and then I can see where it would fit nicely. Mike Norris, the tuner, said it's best to have an air temp sensor after the throttle body if I'm using meth so that if the pump stops working for some reason the temp sensor will see an increase in temperature and change the timing to protect the engine. We are going to try and run the meth system at a very low level just for cooling to start. I really want to do E85 and will set the car up for it but I need Holley to finish developing their flex fuel sensor and I'd be good to go.

Sorry guys been slacking here. Still waiting on some parts. My MWC front and rear end were just about to ship and of course I had to change some things. I decided to have my rear end gears REM polished to reduce friction along with a couple other things. So hopefully it doesn't set me back too long. Also still waiting on my wiring harness but Brian (Racewire Solutions) said it should be done soon. It takes him about 2 weeks to make a harness and he said I'm not too far down on the list. This was all a couple weeks ago now I just didn't think about updating.
The car looks like it's going backwards lol. Painter took the doors and spoiler last week but I told him to take his time because he's going to need the car next.
I also decided to make the car capable of running E85 and I'm going to tune the car on it. Mike Norris, the tuner, wanted me to do that before and then one of the threads I've been following, Detoxx's build, finally convinced me. So I ordered Injectory Dyanmics ID1300 injectors from Tony Mamo. Should be plenty for what I want to do. I'm also getting the Holley Ultra Dominator dual fuel pump/dual inlet setup, it's released in a couple weeks. So the fuel system will actually be done. I'll reuse my 10an feed/return lines. They're PTFE so everything is E85 capable at this point. I had to buy new pre and post filters for E85 also and to handle the extra flow. Tony said my injectors should be here soon.
I pulled my Magnafuel pump off and put it on my street car with the rest of the fuel setup (one step closer for that car to the street).
Also got my touchscreen in for my Holley System
So I might start putting my dash together and gauges here soon. My wife told me that if my car is running before our golf cart then I'm going to be in trouble so I've been working on that too. Her and my son ride around on there when the weather gets warmer. I had to make some upgrades this winter of course so it's almost done. Probably wrap that up Friday.
I'll post up some more updates as I get my parts in

Got my Holley Ultra Dominator Fuel Pump System yesterday! Dual pumps, dual inlets and dual controllers. It wasn't supposed to be released until 5/6 so definitely was a surprise. One more piece to the puzzle! I got this setup from my tuner Mike Norris. I had originally bought an Aeromotive setup but Aeromotive said I should run a fuel cooler on the return line with a fan on it. I haven't seen many guys have to do this so I talked to Mike and he recommended this setup. Also, a couple members told me that the in-tank Aeromotive setups were known to get hot. So I sent the Aeromotive stuff back to Summit. Gotta love Summit's return policy, it's awesome!
I noticed there's only one controller in the box and Mike said he has one at the shop for a customer with the same thing so I don't know if there's two controllers built in to the one box or if it's just missing a controller. Mike is checking on that.
Injectors should be coming from Tony soon too!!!
More updates as I get stuff
