The Lark has always gone forward very rapidly, but it never stopped very good. The solution arrived today:

got a side job over at the moment. doing sfc's. this is a nice car on top, but the floor is pretty beat up. had to cut an lca bolt off to get it out too. so that was a mess, lol.

Looks like the mild steel type you get from CE. I made them work on the 86 TA. No complaints but u made them work the way I wanted. lol

Shop update: dropped a load of dirt off and started filling in a soggy spot so I can trench out and start burying my power cables. Plenty of blisters. I have friends with tractors, but, it is really too soggy to even try to use them. Progress none the less.

Looks damn good. And I will say to anyone, it is worth building your own over buying a set form a company.

That will be an added bonus. I am really looking forward to having a good stop pedal. I am also curious to see the weight difference. The front will be lighter, but I bet the rear will be notably heavier than my aluminum drums.

Finally got some more done with the shop. Now I can bring some good material in to grade to the front of the shop so equipment can get on there and start standing up some steel. Trencher actually still got just stuck enough to need the escalade to pull it forward a bit. But the power wire is in.

Pulled a load of washout in the yard Wednesday, the rain came with it. Hard as hell. Was sure it wouldn't set well soon, but with no rain, I checked it today by walking on it and she is pretty damn solid for no heat to cure it. I'll be able to stand this SOB up should the rain stop being a bastard. Getting excited!
