There is no E85 around here that I am aware of. Just stepping it up a little. I had to buy an aluminun block to make up for the weight of the cage. I was just being sensible.

You ain't lying. I don't want less than a 4" bore but I barely missed a 500$ LS1 short block that would have been fun to use while I change the 6 liter.

Looks like that torque arm mod is coming sooner rather than later.

Instead of buying a new one, I think you could just cut out that bent tube and weld in a new piece......and then brace the heck out of it so it doesn't happen again.

Tigger, what were your old headers? Would they fit my 68 Camaro? (I know that is kind of a loaded question as all threads I've read have fitment all over the place depending on mounts.)

I used these but I have a manual box (cleared fine) and it is pretty tight at the stock brake booster.

These may fit better ???

They are designed for 64-72 GM A-Body cars. What else they might fit, I do not know.

nope, the top tube is stretched as well. additionally, this arm is too short for my car in all honesty, the entire system needs a revamp. stay tuned, things are in motion already.

Thanks Doug and Tigger.

Sorry to hear it's not as easy (cheap) of a fix for you Matt. Glad you've got a handle on it.

You're going to miss it. I've had terrible luck with every LS stroker motor I've owned. I thought about pulling the ls2 out of the s10 to replace the 408 in the 69 Camaro...but was too lazy to mess with it lol.

Still Wish I thought about throwing it in my mustang before you sold it. Lol
