It was quite a battle and a headache and a half but I think I am on the home stretch on my ls swap into my 1970 Camaro RS. Motor is a Iron block LQ4 bored to a 370, K1 crank and rods. LS3 heads, Kenne bell 3.6l supercharger mammoth liquid cooled. T56 magnum trans. Here are a few pics and videos. Car gets tuned on the 17th of may hoping to put down 700rwhp on pump gas.
Sounds great, and looks like one helluva setup. Got any more pics of the car? Never seen that generation with the center exhaust like that, would be interested to see a better view of the rear.
Exhaust is a one off idea I had, that turned into way more work than I had thought. Fuel cell is now in the trunk which made room for the exhaust to run straight out into dual tips with a custom made bezel.
Old pic but tips mocked up, fuel cell in trunk now

I lover your build, looks great.
I have been considering a supercharger conversion.
but the problem is that i have limited space in my truck.
Can you tell me how much higher the engine gets with the KB, instead of the stock intake.
otherwise from the crank centerline to the top of the intake.
I have 3" clearance, which cant be changed.
Thanks for all the kind words guys, glad this thing is coming together finally.
As far as hood clearance, my 3" cowl wouldent clear so I had to order a 4". Its about 1 inch taller than the truck intake. I got the kenne bell and my top end used and got a screaming deal or I would of went whipple. No doubt I would have had way more room, as the kenne bell mammoth is well mammoth lol. Wish I could find a girl around here even into cars, they are all into diesel trucks now. The rear is next on the list I have a donor 9" behind the garage but the 10 bolt has been solid this far, although it is built. Dougs header fits really good when I set the motor back i did have to ding one header tube but other wise much better than the original hedman I had on the sbc
No it sadly wont be at spring cruise but maybe fall. Yea I am in love with the exhaust, on a plus side its super loud but all the sound goes out and not in the car same with tire smoke it pushes all the smoke back and not in the car

We had a local car show in my town to support a boy with a life threatening disease. I got a years worth of dust off my car and polished everything up and ended up winning best muscle car and announcers choice. Dyno tuning will be done next Tuesday, and my hood should be here in June !
Congrats on the car show awards! And thanks for the follow-up pics on the exhaust setup.

If you're just making a comment or asking a basic question, you don't have to quote a post that has 10 or 15 pictures in it. If you click the "Edit" button you can remove the extraneous quotes to clean up the thread. The car's nice to look at, of course, but all the repeated pictures just make it harder to navigate on a smaller screen.
