Yes, the exhaust pictured is 3"... I was able to get everything prototyped all the back to the outlets of the over axle tubes and will need to load everything back into the Holley Chevelle to finish the tailpipes as the fuel tanks on the Chevelles are located much closer to the axle due to their 3" shorter frame/body length at the rear or the car.

I had a productive weekend and was able to get the prototyping of the mid-length headers that will be available completed, as well as the adapter tubes that will be required to connect them to the exhaust system.
The Lemans is leaving this morning and everything will get loaded back into the Holley 67 Chevelle a final time so that everything can get checked over for proper fitment and so I can prototype the exhaust system tailpipes.
The fuel tank on the Chevelle is located 3" closer to the rear axle than on the other A-bodies, which have 3" longer frames/bodies than the Chevelle beyond the rear axle. This is the reason the tailpipes need to be prototyped on the Chevelle.
Here's some pics of the mid-length header fitment...

Todd,
Will Holley/Hooker have the engine mounts available as well? I want to make sure I'm getting the right ones and everything I need. I assume I will need both the clamshell and the poly? If Holley/Hooker are not providing, do you have suggestions on where to acquire parts and a parts list or part numbers?
Thanks,
Jim

"Installation of an LS engine with these brackets requires the use of new stock OE 4th-gen F-body LS engine mounts (ex: GM 22179268 or Anchor 3064) or aftermarket polyurethane inserts (Prothane 7-512 or Energy Suspension 3-1151) and a stock rubber, or aftermarket poly transmission mount (Prothane 7-1604 or Energy Suspension 3-1108).
In addition, a pair of metric motor mount through-bolts and a pair of locking flange nuts will need to be sourced for connecting the Hooker engine brackets to the motor mounts. Specification requirements are 10.9 M12 x 1.75 x 140mm (Fastenal P/N 0122037 or equivalent) for the bolts and M12 x 1.75 class 8 (Fastenal P/N 11508236 or equivalent) for the nuts."

Thanks Todd. Guess I should've done a little more research.

I don't currently have time to go through this whole thread so I'm subbing and saying that I'm glad to see there will be some items to look forward to so I can get my Skylark done the way I want it without spending hours in the driveway trying to figure it out. (My garage isn't large enough for the skylark and to top it off it looks like a bomb went off in a beetle with parts strewn everywhere.)

Hey there forcd ind. Yep, I'm one in the same and use the same user name on all the forums I frequent/post on. As a consumer/gearhead myself, I understand how photos and information can be extremely helpful in making a purchasing decision.
