Default 50 chevy kustom ls conversion

Hi everyone. Newbe here. I've been building my 50 style line kustom for a while now. It's been slow going as cash flow permits. As of right now it has a Mustang 2 front suspension set up, a Gambino Kustoms tail dragger kit 4 link in the rear, and computer controlled air ride all the way around. I have a new unfired 355 small block that I built 2 years ago in it now with a 700R4 trans. I recently picked up an LQ4 6.0 to drop in the car. This will be my build thread as I go on this adventure.

Looks cool, how's the 4 link quality? I'm going bag my Pontiac and was thinking of using gambino for the rear.

Default 50 Chevy bags

Good move changing to an LS engine (I think). When I bagged the rear of my '39 I just got a triangle 4 bar kit and built the rest. Mine doesn't have the range of the kit but all I wanted is to adjust for people in the back seat.

Hope you're ready for an adventure! Helped a buddy with the early parts of a LS1 swap into a 50 Fleetline and did the Jiminez MII front and 2 link rear on it as well. Suspension was pretty easy, biggest bitch was working around the firewall body mount and trying to figure out steering down to the rack. It all definitely takes some creativity to figure out.

I have a '50 Ford F1 pickup with an LSx swap. Thumbs up from me. Love the power, drivability, reliability, lack of leaks, mileage, etc.

Here is where I bought the pressure, well volume, reducer that threads in to my GM truck - style pump. I also installed a hydroboost unit for brakes, which I highly recommend.

That looks like it is going to be quite a ride. Subscribing (gotta see the end result).
