Well no one showed any interest in it really so didn't do much updating, cars is up and running now, treated myself to some 17x7 and 17x10.5 dark star wheels and 315 555r drag radials.

I like it, just because no one replied doesn't mean we aren't reading.

Is that a pp intake? Any reason to go that over an ls6?

What did you use to mount the drive train?

What about exhaust details?

Hey man what motor mounts did you use? Do you think your headers would work with the stock clamshell mounts with Hawks' mount pedestals? I've been looking for headers because it's really the only thing I need to get my motor fired but I don't wanna spend the $700 on Hawks' headers. Great built man I've been workin on mine for about 2 years haha

Thanks guys!

I've got the Pp intake because I picked it up for $109 brand new in the box locally. I've done a ton of reading on it, and the people who have bought it like it, and I've seen back to back dyno results of a 9rwhp gain over the ls6 intake, more than once. Either way, it looks better than the truck I intake haha.

I built the tq arm it is tunnel mounted, not finished yet. Car runs but I'm working on some issues. Custom mad trans crossmember.

Exhaust is up in the air still, either 4" single or dual 3"

Motor mounts are actually trans adapt s10 kit I got used locally, fit great and work great. Headers are 1 3/4 racing innovations swap headers off eBay, $350 shipped fit like a glove, drop right in with engine in the car!

That torque arm looks great, I assumed it was an aftermarket piece, nice job.

Do you think that these headers would work with the Hawks' mount pads?

I'm not familiar with the Hawks pads, but from doing my reading it appears the racing innovations headers are the same ones Hawks sells or sold. They fit great and have a to. Of clearance everywhere. I think you would be fine!

Thanks for the compliments on the tq arm.

Ran into some problems tonight. I went out and got my 02 sensor wires swapped side to side because I had gotten them crisscrosses when I did my harness. Got that done, fired up the car. Tired right up then died. Tried it again and same thing. Third time nothing on the switch at all, no click no nothing. Noticed when I flip my switch forward all the interior lights dim almost dark. Checked power with a volt meter, 12.1v switch off, 7 with switch on. Out a battery charger on it and checked it, 12v+ with switch off, switch on 7v and my battery charger starts humming real loud like it's under a heavy load. I e got a serious power drain somewhere and I cannot find it. No smoke no smell no nothing.

Thanks a lot for your replies about the headers and motor mounts man I appreciate it! I'll be following your build. And for your parasitic draw, is the case of one of your o2s touching a body ground or is there an opening in any of your wires? That's odd that it only seemed to happen after you switched your o2s

Sounds like your starter is stuck. When you try to crank your voltage is being drawn down like it's under load. I would try another starter if you have a spare.

Tried 3 starters, but it was pulling the voltage down without even trying to start it, just flipping key to accessory.
Turned out the brand new battery shorted out internally. Had it tested, failed instantky. Gave me a replacement and it fired right up. Now to get my idle, figured out. Can't get my hp tuners to read tps on dbc cars Fter the latest update.

Put on a diamond eye 4" muffler from the kit I bought for my Cummins, sounds great. Nice and quite down low and throaty up top. It's staying! Also got my throttle cable finished

I actually built my own, my engine is as far back as the mounts will allow, and the header ends very close to the frame angling in no way possible to get a pipe on it with out some crazy nasty elbow right off the header. I cut my frame partially out and rebuilt it, my y pipe is very tucked up into the car now. I can take pictures if you would like. Have not had a chance to drive it yet with the new stall, I had a 3600 previously and it was veryyyy street friendly.. I want the car to run hard, so I got this stall haha. Hope run mid 11's at least in 3500+ d/a

Thanks! Cam is actually specd by Ed Curtis for a 5.3/3400 stall. I bought this ls1 immediately afterwards and then this pt4000, been talking to ed about swapping in a new custom grind based off one of his hellion grinds.
