I have quite a few parts to powder coat on my car, but I can't find anybody that I really like.
Quality is most important to me.
Time is important in the fact that it shouldn't take a month.
I would like the price to be fair for quality work.
I've used three different places and would like to find a company that's consistent with their quality. For example, I don't want to purchase taps to rethread anything. I want someone to plug the holes.
I live in the Clear Lake area, but I'll travel to the other side of town.
Damn! Those look good. The quality looks great too.

You just might have me sold on Precision Powder Coating, because one of the items I want to powder coat is my LT1 intake and it's aluminum as you know. I don't want any bubbling in the powder coat.
I took some parts to get powder coated including my K-member and the shop called me and said there's a crack in the K-member and I need to pick it up and have it welded before they can powdered coat it.
Do you all think it will be safe to just have it welded up?
Yes on the welding. Could throw a gusset on there for piece of mind. Baby **** for a good welder...(not me anymore btw) Be aware if it is Mild Steel or C Moly for MIG or TIG.
I finally took my K-member to get welded and powder coated last week and today I picked it up. Below is a picture of all the parts I got coated by Precision Powder Coating.
The coating feels thick like it will last a long time. I'm happy so far. I plan to take more parts to them to get coated.
