is it worth it to grab for possible rebuild for my son?

I'm picking it up tomorrow night.
It's going to get stored for now as my sons 406 "needs" heads and a custom cam 1st!
He want's to beat daddy with his malibu! LOL!

Turns out it's one out of a box truck with the drum brake on the end. Does that mean it's missing parts for park? If so what's the cost on that?

The transmission should be normal. I would buy it as long as it's two wheel drive.

Hmmm....I see your point now...you will have to do a little work. But if you're okay with putting in a tail shaft and housing; you could still get it. I would look around first before you decide to commit to this one (change of heart, now that I see that tail housing).
