Sooooo close to 11.7. Was holding the car in gear all night because it would shift about 100 ft befor the line. On my last run DA was down to -100 and I hit the rev limiter right before the line! Costing me the 11.7! With a hook I was running consistent 11.8-11.9 with da at +50-100.

Ran a scat a few times. Had the air box mod, tazer and dr. My first run we both blew the tires off. He ran 12.8 to my 12.5. He trapped 113 i trapped 115 that run. He got out in front of me but I steadily pulled him. The cars are very very close. He got a best of 11.9x@114. With out my weight loss from the drag pack the cars would honestly be a dead heat. I'd give a very very slight edge to the sexgen. I'm talking like .1 and 1 mph. Was a newer 5.0 auto and a 13 5.0 auto both on drag packs. Not sure what else. They running 12.3-12.7 at 110-113 all night.

Was a stock stingray running 11.8@116. They don't have much on a 6g. My guess is a tenth maybe two.
New zo6 I seen run 11.1 it may have went faster. Also a stock 6g with supercharger and a new focus rs guys were from livernois. SS having traction issues running 11.3. I beat the brakes off the focus it ran a 13.4.
All in all awesome night and I'm hooked! Got about 13 passes in. Got a video as well of the 11.80 of someone can tell me how to post it. The time is too blurry to see though

Btw the stingray was with the livernois guys. He had a laptop in the car doing stuff when he told me it was stock lol. We were running virtually identical times all night et and trap. He then suddenly ran a 10.8 lol. Nitrous. So he was tuned. Low pro DR on the back. I'm surprised they are no faster than a 6g really.

Not totally stock I guess.

I am tied for the fastest 1/8. And I got the best 60 on c6 for a stock tune car on tire. 1.71. And it still felt like torque management was holding it back. Especially the 1-2 shift. They may only gain 10hp from pump tune but I'm betting I could have run 11.5-11.6 tonight 93 tune from removal of the nannies and better 1-2 shift. I even felt it bog after the 1-2 a couple times.

Just mad I didn't get the 11.7@117 cuz of my error... maybe next time

Hey man, took my car power mods to run that.

Milan is a good track and that DA was killer. Nice work

I hit 11.89 when it was still +100 and 52f. Had a 15 mph headwind most of the night.

Prep was so so and it was cold. Had to do a 5 second burnout and air them to 17 psi or it wouldn't hook. Nice experience nice crew.

No coyote ran faster than 12.3 all night. Like I said at least Drag Pack on both. the 2015 had a laptop in the car he ran a best of 12.3@113. They were auto. They were hooking. Trapping 110-113. They had some close races with a bolt on 4th gen SS auto. He was running ~12.7@110. They just aren't in the same league as a 6g when near stock. They are a closer race to a good running ls1 car IMO.

Now the Scat pack... its right there with edge to SS as I suspected all along. I was impressed.

What are your mods and times?

My botched run vs Scat with 2.1 60 bad spin then an early bogged 1-2 shift lol. Still almost caught him.

And the slip I went 12.5 him 12.8
15' FBO Brolander vs. stock A8 16' Goat Gen Camaro-img_2162.jpg

11.9 run vs bolt on tune and gear g8. He went 13.1 IIRC

An 11.89 run

And finally my 11.80

Nice runs man! You got that 11.80!

At least you had everything going for this for a change.... Good DA, Sticky tires etc.

I wonder what yours would have ran in the same conditions if it was totally stock, and hooking on the stock tires? 12.2 ish?

Yes but the only thing that did much was the drag pack IMO.

If I could get it to hook probably a very high 11.9-12.0. Back seat is only 35 lbs and I'm 250 lol. Ported tb is a throttle response mod maybe 2-3 hp. I felt nothing from the CAI and dyno are not showing it either. It's a mod for the future. My drag pack is cast and heavy. Tires are heavy radials. Was fighting 15-20 mph headwind was gusting on some runs.

They will run 11.9 totally stock in DA up to maybe 500-1000. With no wind. If you can hook hard. Someone 80-100 lbs lighter than me would help too. Someone could probably get 11.7 best case totally stock in ridiculous -2-3000 DA. But then again tracks perform different even with same da.

I'm gonna get a throttle controller will help my 60 possibly. It will go 11.7. TM kills this thing off the line and the 1-2 shift. It pulls timing on the shift as well im reading from people.

Nice man. I knew Scats and 6th gens were close. I have seen it on the streets. The Challenger is big, but it can move. We would definitely be close. Did the Challenger still have 20's on?

Yep they are. Closer with et than trap though. I think they geared a little better and the zf may shift a touch harder. When I raced that guy I came back from 1.5 cars to almost even after a bogged 1-2 shift when we crossed as you can see.

An SS will win from a roll. All things equal. But it won't be easy. Drivers race.

Yes.

We would run about identical if you've added 20 hp IMO

They et very close. From my experience as well as Internet research I believe the SS has a small mph advantage most of the time.

Sounds about right. I wonder If the Scat dropped to a 17" wheel the mph advantage would of disappeared?
