The prototype system is created with 3" tubing and the 2.5" version of the system is configured in the fixtures with offset control saddles.

Thanks, I put in the effort to optimize the bend geometry.

Thanks for the praise Andrew. I'm not sure I'm any more knowledgable than many other guys out there...but I am one of the most objective and determined bastards you'll run into.

Project update 9/16/16- some exhaust system product decisions were made today that I thought I'd share with those following along.

1. The full-length systems that have already been shown previously with be available in 409SS and 304SS versions (in both 2.5" and 3" versions)

2. I will also be developing a 3" system that ends at the mufflers and exits through dumps for those that have interest in such a system. That system will also be available in 409SS and 304SS versions.

Any tentative date that these products with be available to the public? I was planning on using the upr plates with a stock 4.6 kmember, but these seem to be a much better and thought out product.

I'm hopeful that we'll see the engine swap plates and 1-7/8" long-tube headers up on the shelf by the last week of October. The transmission crossmembers and exhaust systems are further back in the development process and will take about another 30 days beyond that to get released.

Hey guys, I'm doing the final fitment validation of the two transmission crossmembers for this swap system before cutting them loose for production and thought I'd share pics of them as I go so those following this thread can get a look at them...these photos posted here depict one of the two crossmembers installed with a TH400, 2004R, T56 and 4L80 transmission, in that order. I will post photos of the other crossmember for Powerglide, TH350, TKO and 4L60-4L70 transmissions next Monday after I complete the fitment validation process.

I'm working on the validation of the forward-mounted transmission crossmember geometry today and will be checking in with four different transmissions...the first up is the TH350 seen here...

Last one up is the 4L60-4L70 transmission. The validation process went very well and only leaves me with have to make a few minor edits to the CAD model and drawings before I can cut both crossmembers loose for the first production run. That means we should have them on the shelf by the end of next month.

Were moving through the first batch of the 1-7/8" long-tube headers and pushing towards their release in a few weeks...

Very nice. I appreciate Holley (and you) taking us on the prototyping journey of all of these new exhaust systems. Definitely builds buyer confidence!

Thanks for checking in and commenting. I try to load as much information as I can into these threads as I know from personal experience how frustrating a lack of, or absence of information can be when you are trying to judge the usefulness or value of a particular product. I hope the depth of the information gives those reading some insight into the methodology, determination and resources we put behind our efforts. These threads provide the most value once the components get released and users of them start sharing feedback of thier experience with them.
