*The ulitmate street/strip build* F1C procharged trans am ws6 ~pic heavy~
Now that the rest of my build will be happening quickly the next 30 days, I thought it would be nice for followers to see a new thread since my previous build thread was old, and details changed throughout. So now that everything is purchased & set in stone, I'm going to recap everything that has happened so far along with details here!
This is a 2002 trans am ws6 with a F1C procharged 376 will FLEX FUEL! This will be 90% street car, my goal was to build a car that can be fueled up anywhere, retain all of the factory accessories, great sound system, and avoid parts that cause annoying clunks & added interior noise. No intentions of installing a roll cage since its primary street driven. I was very careful choosing the parts for this build with street driving in mind, although since it won't be a daily driver it will have some cam lope and obviously won't be the quietest car with the true duals HP goals are 700-800 range! Im not going for 1000 hp just because it sounds cool, I want enough hp to scare most people, and still hook decently on the street without running 15" wheels with fat tires.

EVERYTHING RELATED TO THE ENGINE!
NEW FAST LSXR 102MM INTAKE W/ HOLLEY 105MM W/ LOW RPM TAPER THROTTLE BODY
If you're planning on painting the engine bay..... Now is the time to do it. Take your time and clean everything up. You'll have a much more fulfilling build and end product if you do.

Awesome buddy! I'm glad to see that. Its sad to see builds with tons of money invested into a dirty car. Makes things seem like an after thought. Wouldn't everyone agree?

100% my last build i didn't paint the engine bay, it was navy blue. Looks really bad!
Alright brake lines are finished. T the rear brake lines together, then ran new line to the proportional valve then to the brake booster.
Also decided to run new line on the member to a T then to the line lock and on to the brake booster. It ended up looking really nice, no more brake lines all over the place, no big bulky ABS block anymore. Everything is tucked nicely towards the back!
I am officially ticked off at BMR SUSPESNION. My first K member from them didn't fit right. On the drivers side ones I tightened the middle fastening bolt there was still a big gap between the body and the front and rear fastening points. Passenger side fit perfect. I called them and they were nice and sent another k member. This was is the same or maybe a little worse. As you can see from the measurements to the ground which I know isn't exact but this shop was built about a year ago. I know its dang close! Waiting for tomorrow to see what they say when they open.
Made some good progress on the shifter today. Put a thing piece of metal in to cover the 6 speed hole. Covered it with sound deadener showdown deadener.
magnaflow oval mufflers showed up today, Im replacing the kooks mufflers in the true dual system with these. Another ls1tech member did this and it quieted the system down quite a bit and took care of the rasp. Excited to get this thing going!
