Replacing Bilsteins with ZZP junk, I vote no. That Buick is too sweet for this kind of nonsense, but to each their own.

I'm not planning on replacing anything at this point; I like the balance of the way the car rides now; still buick smooth but stiff enough to corner.

When the time comes to replace I like looking at my options though

I think GM did a decent job with these cars, always room for improvement though. In my opinion a better solution would be some new Bilsteins if needed, poly bushings and some lowering springs . Bigger sway bars and strut rod braces too would improve handling more then the coilovers. I believe you have some of that already . In a different platform more racing minded the coilovers would be a good choice. Just my 2 cents

Yeah I eventually plan to upgrade sway bars all around, poly bushings (or zzp control arms) and that's about it. I've got the strut bars already. I find the handling better with the poly dog bone and motor mounts as well (took some mush out of it).

It's kind of ironic because one of my Mazda buddies drove my car and said he entirely expected the power the car has but what caught him off guard is how well the car holds corners!

Don't forget as I said to you before I'm likely going to have to unload the front sway bar kit I bought because I don't think it is going to clear with my cartuning turbo setup... I have poly Moog bushings and problem solver sway links to go with it too.

I have the 34mm bar, I installed it withe the poly bushings and new control arms as well as the strut rod braces. As a package it made a noticible difference. Mike you should grab that bar kit from Red Zone , its money well spent.

I likely will; are you selling control arms as well?

Thanks,

Mike

the cheapest I've seen oem bilsteins is 250 a strut. which amounts to 1000 dollars. I've heard good things about bc racing coilover kits, so if I have to do struts, it makes sense to me to pay a little more and get coilovers.

Made in Taiwan. Garbage. BC is not an American company, don't be fooled, they just have a distributor in America.

bc racing makes excellent shocks and are well reviewed by many autocrossers and the like. Most American made shocks are trash.

To the o.p these are really good shocks for the money. I pulled the trigger on them as my current coilovers are not on the same level as these.

Nice; how's the adjustment? What's the comfort level at most comfortable spring rating in comparison to stock? I'm very interested in these but also don't want my Buick to ride like a Honda CRX.

Post some pictures man!

In a way I wish I had adjustable suspension instead of my HD bilsteins
