Default Iat sensor this close to bov

This is all I needed for the charge pipe length so so u see any reason the iat sensor can't be this close to bov I put both as far from meth nozzles as possible is the reason there close together

I relocated mine into the intake to make damn sure I got the nozzles far enough away from the BOV but still upstream of the IAT so it'd see when the system was engaged.

As far as your IAT to BOV placement, that should be fine. My BOV and IAT are comparably located and I don't see any odd IAT issues. I wouldn't think there would be a lot of disturbance for the IAT's when the BOV opens and closes.

The IAT is a thermistor....it will not be affected by the BOV being that close because air should not be entering INTO the charge pipe through the BOV.

only issue is if you spray meth before the BOV it can make the BOV oring go bad sooner. Dries it out because of the alcohol.

OK, well then the other issue I see is that the Meth should spray before the IAT. The Meth causes the charge to cool and the IAT will not detect this change. Yes the IAT will be wet and will be cooled further by the airflow but its nominal.

At least this is everything I have found and read about meth, placement and IAT sensors.
