Nothing. When I wash the inside of the windshield and some of the Windex or Glass Plus gets on the dash, I clean it off. I don't want a shiny dash.

Greasy is a bad look and most people will be pretty uncomfortable in your car if it's slathered with the interior equivalent of a silicone-based tire wet. High gloss also increases glare which can be a real pain depending on where you drive. If you're looking to eliminate the dry tupperware look, try Aerospace 303 Protectant. AAIIIC posted a quick review I wrote earlier. Make sure you follow the directions. Spray it on a microfiber towel, wipe it on, and then buff it dry using a clean towel or separate portion of your towel. Don't leave it on or it'll look and feel bad.

I shined my dash only once with armoral, had to do the circle motion to get it in there, only stayed shiny for a day or so, now i just leave it alone but i always atleast vacume it or dust it with a microfiber
I've heard armoral is bad for your dash, eventually dries it out and causes cracking over time. Not sure, but I never use it. I know dealerships do be cause it makes them shine and look new, but the effects are only temporary. I usually just use my detail spray to help lift dust.
Our dashes are designed to be low glare and low maintenance and a bit upscale. You will not get them to shine easily or in a lasting way, and you shouldn't. Just use something with some UV protectant in it to prevent cracking and get on down the road.

Ok. Thanks for the tips guys. I was also informed from a retired body shop guy "back when I owned and operated Cadillac body shop we didn't have all these fancy chemicals. We used saddle soap for cleaning and vasoline after" words from the horses mouth. Thoughts on the vasoline? Just curious...

Thanks again guys for all your input. I never thought a shinny dash was bad. I just have a show this weekend and thought it would be nice to have it looking fresh. Great input and always a plethora of knowledge. Cheers!
