Thats not he right harness. It has the same LS3 plug. You need the male version of that plug and a female of the LS1. I have yet to find one on ebay... they all seem to convert the LS1 harness to the LS3 sensor and not the other way around.

This is a great thread, I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on an 06 GTO LS2 with the 4L65E.. I was looking at this controller and the guy from Fitech told me I would need a new MAP and conversion harness/plugs for the injectors and that I would need to run a manual throttle body.. Does this sound correct?
I would think this would have been setup to go LS2 or 3..

I found this company today called Boosted Solutions, looks like they make the injector adapters, these look correct?

Basically it's just a Bosch 4.2 or 4.9 sensor. I can't remember the type but it's probably the 4.2 as I don't think they came out with the 4.9 till 2007. FWIW the 4.9 has a much longer service life and is more accurate.

My kit should be here Thursday! Whoop whoop!

H.P. Ranch can you check the 02 sensor harness and verify if it says 4.9 on the connector? It's hard to tell the style of 02 from the 02 sensor... easier on the harness plug side. Or get the part numbers on the actual 02 sensor so we can get the same bosch 02.

Yea I didn't mean it that way. I thought it was wonky when I read the email from Kirk at Fitech. Apparently the 2001-2003 is the same sensor that the Fitech harness uses. Basically a bosch style 5 wire 4.2 or 4.9 sensor. If that the case then I got a few laying around from my innovate WB02 kits if the plugs are the same. I would wait till you get the kit and then get the part# right off the sensor and just order the exact same one.

UPS updated my shipping and looks like I should be getting mine tmrw as well

A good question to ask Fitech is if the use of a 4.9 sensor will work correct. I would love to get a more accurate WB02 sensor if possible. But supposedly they are not interchangeable except for innovate which you have to perform and update to the software to run the newer sensor.

Hey Guys so some good news!

I found a conversion harness that will connect into the LS3 MAP plug supplied with the Fitech kit and convert it to use an LS1/LS2/LS6 MAP sensor (including the truck). This was very difficult to find and I had to ask EFI connection to add it to ebay as it was only available from there website... it is also the only one i was able to find.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/132297415450

I was told the link doesnt work, see the link below to the actual website.
https://www.eficonnection.com/home/p...pter-harness-2

This will allow me to connect my LS1 style truck 2 bar MAP sensor to the Fitech harness without modifing the Fitech harness and voiding the warranty.

It's says on the website that it's good for up to 30psi boost. All you need is the correctMAP sensor and it will read boost automatically. But it is limited to 30psi hardware wise. I'm going to be running mine at 10-11psi. Heard mine arrived today!

It's the same system that's on there complete intake setups. They just sell the EFi harnessa dn PCM separately but they are the same.

This kit is basically the 1200 power adder throttle body unit.... W/o the throttle body. You get all the programmation etc in the computer, but get the choice of intake, injectors and all that really limit your boost level because of the sizes of the injectors in the TB (capacity AND physical sizes).

Im debating. But leaning more and more towards Holley HP. But im not sure yet.... might start with this 70050 and advise down the road. It was my first idea, but the lack of support from FITech is bugging me as i dont like beeing guena pig (sp).

Guess well see soon, as i found the turbo placement today!!!!

Lead.

Just opened my kit up.

Everything looks good. PCM is super tiny compared the the stocker. I want to look at a few of the sensors but the ALT plug has 2 wires and my stocker only has 1. Plus I want to verify the IAT plug as it seems different.

This is the 5 wire 02 included in the kit.

can't wait you for you guys to get them running lol, I'm waiting on something more radical to see how it performs. Fitech told me on the FI they need 10" of vacuum for the self learn to a minimum requirement of 8". The carb units needed minimum of 5".
When I talked to Fast and Holley on their self learn systems they also said 10" on the self learn is optimum, anything lower you will have to make adjustments or step up on to the better units (more expensive) lol
I'm right at the cusp, 8" to 9"

I read a thread where a guy was using and FI tech carb EFI style system and he was making around or less than 8" of vacuum and had no issues.
