Ws6Store/RPMSpeed c5 filter/regulator upgrade for 98-02 fbodys
Since many of you were looking for a better solution to the issues with fuel pressure regulators and having a better option, and even using the c5 filter/reg, we decided to make a complete kit.
The perfect upgrade to provide a more dependable, reliable way to regulate fuel pressure. No flimsy plastic housing to warp and leak, no diaphragm to rupture and leak inside the tank. When that happens inside the tank, youll never know and spend hours or days chasing down what is wrong.
Ws6store has your answer. All parts included to install the 99 corvette fuel filter/pressure regulator on your fbody as well as delete the stock fuel filter and remove the stock pressure regulator in the tank. No need to flare any lines or fabrcate anything else. Also puts the fuel filter in an easier to service spot with quick connects on all inlets and outlets. E85 compatible and works with most high horsepower applications.
Buy it here!! Install guide is emailed after purchase.
These kits are much more popular than we imagined!! It definitely fixes a somewhat weak spot in the system and guarantees you have a well working system every time you change the filter also!
The walbro or nearly any "450" pump puts out from 300lph to 350lph at 13.5v and 58 psi that means fully upgraded hotwire, bulkhead, and internal wiring. So yes it will work just fine. In contrast the racetronix 340 puts out 320lph at 58psi and 13.5v.
At that point though i would recommend going with 8an feed and 6 return honestly. The stock lines can only flow so much fuel.
Maybe a bit more info than asked for but definitely important.
Will this work on a 1998 camaro with the metal tank? what is the solution to remove the regulator in the tank? just remove and replace wit fittings and new flex hose? I will be replacing the pump with the racetronix kit here soon and would like to possibly do this at the same time. thanks for any info
Just putting an 18-yr old GM product to good use, and packaging it with all the right pieces.
Yeah, but lots of people love "kits". I'm one of them. Nothing more satisfying than opening a box, following directions and having something work out as planned. As opposed to hunting for pieces, searching the web for installs. I think this is a great idea, and the WS6store is still supporting these cars - awesome.
I didn't mean that as any kind of slam; I LOVE that they took something that's been around a while and made it into a kit that's much easier to use than parts hunting, as you said.
