Default Engine bay paint, Northern IL

I currently have the engine out of my car and while cleaning the grease off it took some paint off in the engine bay.. I would like to get someone to just respray it but I have called 4 different shops that said they weren't interested in doing it. I found 2 shops one said 450 but can't do it for 2 months and the other said 1200! Does anyone know of any good shops? I am in northern IL by Gurnee.

Where is the paint missing from? Why not paint it yourself? A lot of paint supply house's will load you up an aerosol can with your color ready to go, if it's in the engine bay I'm sure you could get it to match and lay down good enough... Unless you're building a wire tucked show car that is.

Ive never painted before and it would drive me crazy if I messed anything up.

I ended up taking it to Alba's Customs and Classics in Lake Villa IL. I was really impressed with how much detail they went into with taking out screws, battery trays, radiator, and all the stuff that they taped off and we're able to paint around. I would definitely recommend them if anyone was looking to get work done.

Originally the quote was 800 to 1000. I also had them take care of some rust under the rear fenders the total came out to 1400. I know a lot of people will think that's to much money but to me spray painting my car was not an option and the amount of detail they put into it was ridiculous. They literally pulled out all the little bolts and even the battery tray. I was really impressed.

Also don't forget to add any Towing costs or trailer rental costs it adds up pretty quick. Cost me 85 dollars a tow or 68 to rent a trailer for one day.
